The Wizards returned to the practice floor for a shortened practice on Thursday morning. Head Coach Randy Wittman was under the weather and not on hand as the team went through some shooting and light workouts.

While most of the team had a light workout, Bradley Beal went through what he described as another Pre-draft workout as he needed to get his conditioning back to what it was before his injury. The good news from the session was that Beal informed the media that his wrist is feeling much better and he expects to play on Friday vs. the Nets. He did say the wrist was still a little sore, but it was now at a point where he can play through it.

Beal joked that the way the team has played this week he might as well keep sitting out. But, we can't forget that he was the starting two-guard when the team won 5 straight home games and he was a big reason for the offensive success.

Beal talked to the media about his wrist and about what John Wall has meant to him:

John Wall talked after practice about the team's mood and the positive atmosphere around the team now that they have won some games:

Marell Webster also addressed the media and talked at length about the team's poise and why they have been able to beat so many of the NBA's top teams this year:

The Wizards are back in action on Friday night and look to sweep their three game homestand with a win over the Brooklyn Nets. The Live Chat begins at 7pm on WashingtonWizards.com
