The Wizards returned to the practice floor for a shortened practice on Thursday morning. Head Coach Randy Wittman was under the weather and not on hand as the team went through some shooting and light workouts.
While most of the team had a light workout, Bradley Beal went through what he described as another Pre-draft workout as he needed to get his conditioning back to what it was before his injury. The good news from the session was that Beal informed the media that his wrist is feeling much better and he expects to play on Friday vs. the Nets. He did say the wrist was still a little sore, but it was now at a point where he can play through it.
Beal joked that the way the team has played this week he might as well keep sitting out. But, we can't forget that he was the starting two-guard when the team won 5 straight home games and he was a big reason for the offensive success.
