Final Score: Wizards 105 Magic 101 (OT)

The Wizards pulled out a 105-101 overtime victory in Orlando, but the celebration was muted as Bradley Beal had to be carried off the floor late with an injury. With 42 seconds to go in OT and the Wizards up two, Beal went up for a rebound and came down funny. The play before that was the play of the game, as the Wizards had the ball down one, and John Wall turned it over. Beal got the huge chase down block on Jameer Nelson and Ariza hit the three on the break to give the Wizards the lead for good.

The game saw the Wizards go up by as many as 15 in the first quarter, but the Magic clawed their way back in. In the second half it was the Magic's turn to take a big lead, going up by as many as nine before the Wizards fought back. Late in regulation it was the John Wall show. He scored the Wizards' final 8 points in the last two minutes, including a huge three with just 10 seconds to go to cut a six point deficit and send the game to overtime.

John Wall (21p/11a), Marcin Gortat (19p/14r), Trevor Ariza (21p/11r) and Trevor Booker (11p/11r) all finished with double-doubles in the win, giving the franchise four players with double-doubles for the first time since 2009. Bradley Beal added 20 points as the starters scored 92 of the team's 105 points. Orlando's bench outscored Washington's 50-13. Washington didn't shoot the ball as well as Orlando, but got to the free throw line much more frequently, shooting 29 free throws (of which they made 23), compared to just 10 for the Magic. The Wizards also won the turnover battle, rebounding battle and shot the three ball better to get the win.

For Orlando, Tobias Harris came off the bench to score 21 and Aaron Afflalo chipped in 18 in the loss. - Jacob Raim

Watch Beal's Chase-Down Block & Teammate Reactions

We started the week in Florida with #WizHeat in Miami and now end the week right back here in the Sunshine State for #WizMagic tonight in Orlando.

This is our first trip of the season to Orlando, which is weird being that the Magic are a divisional opponent and we've already played them twice at home. We also come back to Orlando in a month to close out the season series.

The Wizards are 2-0 on the year against Orlando, with the most recent win coming back on February 25th at Verizon Center. Arron Afflalo was held out of that game with a foot injury, but he'll be back with the Magic tonight and is their leading scorer, averaging close to 20 points per game. Afflalo, Jameer Nelson, and rookie Victor Oladipo are the three to watch in the Magic backcourt, but it's been their big man, Nikola Vucevic who's been hot of late. Vuc has averaged 17.8 points and 13.1 rebounds over his last eight games, while recording a double-double in all eight. He and Marcin Gortat each had big games in the last #WizMagic contest. Gortat went for 21 points and 10 boards, while Vucevic finished with 19 points and 14 boards.

Randy Wittman talked about the keys to shutting down Vucevic and the Magic before the game:

A lot of the Wizards talked about not overlooking tonight's game with Brooklyn on deck for tomorrow night, so I expect the focus to be there from the start. With that said, the team has had it's difficulties this season against some of the lesser teams like Orlando, so nothing is a given.

Witt talked about picking up the pace tonight, something he thought lacked in the #WizBobcats game on Wednesday night. The Magic also like to play an up tempo style of game so expect this one to be played in the 100's.

Kevin Seraphin was available for Wednesday night's game, though he did not see any action. Witt said that could change tonight depending on the flow of the game, so we'll see if KS get back out there.

We get going at 7pm with a Live chat from the arena. We'll see you there.
