Wizards Report November 23

Nene's return to the Wizards lineup made an immediate impact. Not only did he score just seconds into checking into Wednesday's night game against the Hawks, but Nene   was a facilitator on both ends of the court. Nene was part of the Wizards best defensive unit that helped prevent the Hawks from pulling away when they an 11-point lead in the third quarter.   In addition the Wizards have struggled to get to the free throw line all season. Twice the Wizards have been limited to only seven free throw attempts as a team for a game.   Nene was 8 of 10 from the free throw line and the Wizards finished 17 of 24 from the charity stripe. It also seems that Kevin Seraphin plays some of his basketball when Nene   is involved. Seraphin led the Wizards in scoring against the   Hawks with 21 points. Here is today's Wizards Report: LISTEN: wizreportnov23 Nene: "I just   got back after practice one time being out for three and a half months. It was no miracle.   I pushed myself.   It is hard right now. This game (against the Hawks) proved we can do it. We just need   to stick together. Sometimes, you need to sacrifice something to win or invest in your future. “I know this team took me, like when I got traded, they embraced me hard. I told them, ‘As soon as I get better and I’m able to play, I will help my team.’ That’s not to mean I’m cured or not injured. The injury is still there and I have heart. I have pride and I trust this team. So that’s the reason I’m playing." Nene interview: WATCH: http://www.nba.com/wizards/video/2012/11/22/NenePost112112wmv-2301183
