Monday's Practice ReportPosted on January 14, 2013 by FantasticWiz
Jeremy Hyman - WashingtonWizards.com The Wizards held a long practice on Monday as they continued to clean up some of their mistakes and worked on offensive sets. The team had a special guest watch a portion of practice as international music sensation Justin Bieber was in the building to perform at Verizon Center tonight.
After practice, John Wall exchanged pleasantries with the pop star for a few moments. PHOTOS Randy Wittman, Jordan Crawford, Martell Webster, and Trevor Ariza addressed the media after practice and talked about a few hot topics. Jordan Crawford was held out of practice with a minor sprained ankle and although he said he will be playing on Wednesday, Randy Wittman and the team said they will evaluate him again on Tuesday and then move forward. It did not sound too serious and the fact that Crawford said he'll be playing on Wednesday means it won't keep him out of action for too long. Martell Webster and Trevor Ariza talked about getting acclimated to their new team and how they continue to work hard in practice to get adjusted. Webster also said that while he did not have Bieber Fever, his daughters did and they would be attending the show. The team will practice again on Tuesday and then travel to Boston in preparation of Wednesday night's game against the Celtics.
