Thursday's Practice ReportPosted on January 14, 2013 by FantasticWiz
Jeremy Hyman - WashingtonWizards.com Thursday was another great practice for the Wizards and afterwards Randy Wittman said these last few days may have been the best two practices the team has had since camp started. After a disappointing start to the season on Tuesday night in Cleveland, Wittman seemed encouraged about these last two practices and was especially happy today to have Kevin Seraphin back out there. Seraphin ran through his first full practice today and from all accounts appeared to look healthy and efficient. He was encouraged and afterwards tweeted:
Wittman talked about how encouraged he was to have Seraphin back at practice: Martell Webster also spoke with the media and talked about having Seraphin back on the court, how the team is preparing for Boston on Saturday, and how Nene's presence is felt even when he's not on the court. The team wants to see how Seraphin will respond tomorrow before making a decision about his status for Saturday, but from what we heard and saw today it sounds as if he is very close to being able to return to the floor. This would be big for a team that is already missing Nene in the frontcourt and having Seraphin back would give the Wizards an instant weapon in the low post.
Finally after 3 week I had my first pratice today and it was great !!— kevin seraphin (@kevin_seraphin) November 1, 2012
