Wizards Report October 22

Time flies when you are flying all over the country, but the final week of Wizards pre-season is here. Actually I did not fly to Milwaukee over the weekend. My thanks to Capitals play-by-play voice John Walton for filling-in on the radio ¬†and doing a magnificent job. In today's report we rewind to Trevor Booker's performance in Saturday's win over the Bucks. wizardsreportoct22[1] A.J. Price strengthened his bid to start at point guard with his first double-double, 17 points and 11 assists. Rookie Bradley Beal remains a model of consistency. Beal had 10 points and has been in double-digits scoring in every pre-season game.

It is another getaway day for the Wizards. We fly to Kansas City to get set for Wednesday's pre-season game against Miami. The pre-season finale is Friday in San Antonio. In today's report head coach Randy Wittman notes the competition level of a training camp that has included a few injuries.
