Jeremy Hyman - WashingtonWizards.com Checking in from morning shootaround here in Brooklyn at the brand new Barclays Center. Tonight will be the first NBA game ever played in this arena. Check out photos from the new arena After dropping their first two preseason games, the Wizards bounced back with 99-95 win on Saturday night in Cleveland. They did so without a slew of front line players after Kevin Seraphin strained his calf in the first quarter and joined a list of bigs that included Nene, Okafor, Booker, & Singleton who were all out with injuries. Tonight, the Wizards will look to build on Saturday's performance with another strong outing as they get the Nets in Brooklyn. The Nets have added Joe Johnson via free-agency and are hoping to open their new arena with a winning product. Bradley Beal has been impressive in his first three preseason games and has been called on to carry much of the offense with so many guys out with injuries. He joined Jordan Crawford and Brian Cook as the teams' leading scorers on Saturday night with 14 points. Projected Lineups Wizards: G-Pargo, G-Beal, F-Webster, F-Vesely, C-Cook Nets: G-Williams, G-Johnson, F-Wallace, F-Humphries, C-Lopez Injury Report: Emeka Okafor, Trevor Booker, and Chris Singleton are all questionable. John Wall, Nene, and Kevin Seraphin are out.
The Wizards held a practice yesterday here in New York at a facility known as Basketball City. Emeka Okafor returned to practice from a stomach virus, but Kevin Seraphin did not participate. Seraphin is out with a strained right calf. Chris Singleton continues to recover from a sore shoulder.
