Game Day RaptorsPosted on January 14, 2013 by DJ-WizardsRadio
6:34 AM EST.....Dave Johnson checking in...This is hard time, but after 15 years of doing this I have learned to never get to0 low when it's not going well and not to get too high when it does go well. Still we need a good moment to enjoy. We expected "growing pains", but just not this painful. While we try to be patient as fans...the Wizards need to be patient on offense. The Wizards are not being coached to have possessions with only one pass and sometimes not even one pass. On Sunday at the end of the third quarter, the Timberwolves' Ricky Rubio had 12 assists, while the Wizards had 12 assists as a team. In the words of Rashard Lewis: " We have to play together on the offensive end. We are not getting good rhythm shots. We are playing one-on-one basketball, forcing shots, and then every shot is a tough shot. We have to set screens for each other, get some easy shots, and then that builds rhythm on the offensive end." This team has demonstrated it knows how to compete. The road game in Boston and home game against the Knicks were for me the Wizards best efforts of the season. We invite you to join the Blog party tonight. We start at 7:00 PM on the Washington Wizards Radio Network and 106.7 FM… Check out our list of affiliates…http://www.nba.com/wizards/news/broadcasters.html Your truly and Glen Consor will be ready to connect with you as the game goes on.
