Game Day Hornets

7:39 AM EST....Happy New Year...Dave Johnson checking in....It would be nice to step into 2011 with a win. 2010 ended with another stubbed toe on the road. John Wall scored the Wizards final 11 points of the third quarter and finished with 25 points--four shy of his career high--but the Wizards paid for a bad start. While a 15-point deficit is certainly possible to  overcome, I did not have a good feeling yesterday when starting late in the first quarter the Wizards failed to make a field goal in 11:54. Neither Andray Blatche or Nick Young had good shooting days and it's hard to win without one of them at least scoring in double digits. On to a new game and a new year. The Wizards weekly TV show is called The Journey and it really is one....see you tonight.THE BLOGCAST..live radio and live blogging…we invite you to connect with yours truly and Glenn Consor  tonight from  Verizon Center  as we take you inside the game….Wizards basketball this year can be heard on NINE radio stations from Baltimore to North Carolina.
