Game Day Heat

SportzWiz checking in...Dave Johnson will be hopping on later today...The Wizards will begin a three-game homestand tonight against the Heat. As we posted yesterday it looks as though Josh Howard might make his season debut tonight. We will keep you updated throughout the day on Josh's chance to play as well as Dray and John's. Two quick notes for all fans in attendance. First, Wizards Care is hosting the Wizards Toyland Drive. All fans that donate an unwrapped toy will receive a complimentary ticket to a future Wizards game. Fans can drop off toys prior to the game outside the F Street entrance at the Salvation Army truck. Second, because it is going to be a big crowd tonight fans are encouraged to arrive at Verizon Center at least 45 minutes earlier than normal. Fans should look at alternative transportation to the game including the Metro. Doors and Will Call will open at 5:00pm. 10:06 AM EST...Dave Johnson checking in,...yes I overslept...I had a 10:22 PM train from New Jersey on Thursday night but because of signal problems and a downed power line the train did not get to my station at BWI Airport until 6:10 AM Friday....Nothing like an 8-hour train ride.... that's why we laugh at Planes, Trains, and Automobilesthe movie. Watched the Heat play the Knicks last night....yep they are figuring out how to play together....fingers crossed on the return ofJosh Howard...THE radio and live blogging…we invite you to connect with yours truly and Glenn Consor tonight from Verizon Center    as we take you inside the game….Wizards basketball this year can be heard on NINE radio stations from Baltimore to North Carolina. We start at 7:00 PM. 6:45 PM EST...starters are in... Kirk Hinrich and Nick Young will be the guards...Al Thornton and Andray Blatche at forwards and JaVale McGee at center.......Carlos Arroyo and Dwyane Wade will be the guards for the Heat..LeBron James and   Chris Bosh the forwards...and Zydrunas Ilgauskas the center
