Links From Last Night's Win
Posted on November 11, 2010SportzWiz checking in...what a game last night. Andray Blatche did a wonderful job inside finishing with 20 and 11. Al Thornton once again played a strong game finishing with 20 points and six rebounds, and Yi Jianlian had his best day as a Wizard finishing with 13 pts, 7 boards and 4 blocks, but the story of the game is obviously John Wall. In just three home games, John Wall has already had two historically good nights. First in the opener, when he became the only person in NBA history to have at least 29 points, 13 assists and 9 steals in a game, and then last night when he became just the 6th player in NBA history to have a triple-double within his first six career games. To add to that only Wall and Magic were able to have a triple-double with at least six steals within their first six games. He's also now joined Oscar Robertson as the only two players in NBA history to have at least seven assists in each of their first six games. It doesn't get any better than Magic and Oscar when talking about NBA point guards and while it is VERY EARLY still, these accomplishments are beyond impressive.
