A New Week

Posted on November 17, 2008

Hey everyone, we are just a few weeks into the NBA season and the Wizards have dug themselves a little whole but they have been in tough spots before and they have responded well. A busy week of games after a few very interesting weeks schedule wise. A quick stat, currently the Wizards have only played 7 games while four other teams have played 11 games and only the Lakers have played 8 games. Its been hard for the Wizards to get into a flow but the schedule starts to straighten out this week and hopefully that will help the Wiz. On tap this week the Wiz host Miami on Tuesday (Click for tickets), they will travel to Atlanta on Wednesday before returning home for another back-to-back when they host the Rockets on Friday (click for tickets) and finish the week at New York vs. the Knicks on Saturday. The game on Friday vs. the Rockets will be Collect-a-Can-from-a-Fan so if you bring in a can of food you will receive a ticket voucher for a future Wizards game. I will be heading down to practice shortly and I will report whatever I see. Also while the Wizards will have a four day rest heading into tomorrow's game, the Heat did play last night and fell to the Raptors 107-96.
