Travel Day
Posted on October 23, 20089:13 AM Eastern Dave Johnson checking in from San Antonio.....yes we spent the night here last night and will travel to Columbus later for Friday's pre-season finale...It was a fun night on the BLOG and I really enjoyed the time everyone takes to come up with some great stuff....positive numbers and negative numbers..it makes for great discussion and it is stuff we use on the radio as well.....good to see starters do well and FINALLY have a chance to really play together,....a good night for Caron Butler and as Eddie Jordan said he was able to do most of everything in a team context....he didn't have to go outside the box to go one on one...good passes.. ran the floor well....as Eddie noted Caron can get numbers every night but it shouldn't be stressful....but last night in Eddie's words...team had rhythm..a lot of movement with good execution and Caron was a reflection of that...Eddie also pleased with how Juan Dixon and Darius Songaila played in the second half after not playing in first half.....neat story from last night...Bruce Bowen at one point turned to the Wizards bench and said that what Nick Young was doing last night was "really special".....I will check in from Columbus.
