Training Camp Day 6 Practice 1 (only one)

6:18 AM...Dave Johnson here...Looking forward to today's practice. There were two scheduled for yesterday but the players did get the night off. The one practice was very intense and included about a one hour scrimmage. As noted Dee Borwn, Andray Blacthe and DerMarr Johnson were among the players to stand out on a good day for the whole team. And yes good points were made by folks who blogged after I posted yesterday afternoon. The roster limit is 15 so it adds to the challenge of making the roster but anything is possible. Don't forget Wizards Vice President Of Player Personnel Milt Newton plans to jump on the blog. So post some good questions for Milt.   check back in a bit 10:05 AM.....Dave Johnson in the gym...guys are working out...get to the questions in just a bit 10:45 AM...here we go gang..practice is underway...going through an offensive walk through 11:00 AM... now warm-up...with strength coach Drew Cleary....Milt Newton is with us answering questions 11:10 AM...defensive close out drill….cutting off the baseline...Milt Newton with us. 11:20 AM....defensive ball movement drill work ball around perimeter...when ball moves  guy guarding the ball moves and so does everyone else.... 11:30 AM..chnage in defensive drill…one less defender on the floor..to get used to covering more space 11:35 AM...shooting drill 11:40 AM...now 4 on4 drill....Milt Newton is still courtside with us 11:55 AM...water break...refs are on the floor..scrimmage on the way 12:35 PM...baseline to basebaline dribbling..relay..break from scrimmage
