TRAINING CAMP SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team will conduct training camp in preparation for the 2007-08 NBA season at the Siegel Center on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA from October 2-6. In addition, the Wizards will host an open scrimmage, free to the public, on Saturday, October 6th at 5:00 p.m. “We are excited about returning to Richmond for training camp for the fourth consecutive year,†� said Grunfeld. “We are looking forward to hosting an open scrimmage on the VCU campus, so our fans in the Richmond area can have an opportunity to get an up-close look at our exciting team. The previous three training camps that we held in Richmond were very beneficial to our team, as our players, coaches and staff have enjoyed training camp at a first-class facility like the Siegel Center.†�
