USA Basketball announced today that NBA players Carlos Boozer, Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd, Mike Miller, Tayshaun Prince and Deron Williams along with incoming rookies Greg Oden and Kevin Durant have been named to the Men's Senior National Team. The eight players will join over a dozen other players who will compete to make the final roster that will participate in FIBA Americas Championship 2007. The tournament features ten countries looking to earn an automatic bid to the 2008 Olympic Games to be held next summer in Beijing. The two top finishers receive the bids. Guard Gilbert Arenas is among the list of seven injured Team USA players who will not play in this summer's tournament.
